Ironic은 가상 머신 대신 베어 메탈 머신을 프로비져닝합니다. Nova Baremetal 드라이버의 포크입니다. 베어 메탈 하이퍼바이저 API 및 베어 메탈 하이퍼바이저와 상호작용하는 플러그인 세트로 생각하는 것이 가장 좋습니다. 기본적으로 PXE와 IPMI를 함께 사용해서 시스템을 프로비져닝하고 켜고 끌 수 있지만, Ironic은 추가 기능을 구현 할 수 있는 공급업체별 플러그인도 지원합니다.
