C++ Portable Components (POCO) Foundation-biblioteket
POCO C++ Libraries er en samling af C++-klassebiblioteker, i åben kildekode, som forenkler og accelerer udviklingen af netværkscentriske, flytbare programmer i C++. Bibliotekerne integrerer sig perfekt med C++-standardbiblioteket og udfylder mange funktionelle huller efterladt af dette bibliotek.
POCO er bygget alene med brug af standarden ANSI/ISO C++, inklusive standardbiblioteket. Bidragyderne forsøger at finde en god balance mellem at bruge avancerede C++-funktioner og at holde klasserne forståelige og koden ren, konsistent og nem at vedligeholde.
