grabc er et simpelt men brugbart program til at bestemme farvestrengen i heks eller i RGB-komponenter ved at klikke på et billedpunkt på skærmen. Når programmet køres, overtages musemarkøren og ændres til et kryds og når der klikkes på musen, bliver farven på det klikkede billedpunkt skrevet til standardud i heks og R-, G-, B-komponenterne skrives til stderr.

Dette program kan være brugbart når du ser en farve og ønsker at bruge farven i xterm eller din vindueshåndterings kant men ingen ide har om hvad navnet på farven er. Det er lidt overdrevet at bruge et billedbehandlingsprogram for at finde denne oplysning.
