SMS 서버 도구는 SMS 게이트웨이를 설정할 수 있도록 합니다. 간단한 파일 기반 인터페이스를 통해 SMS 메시지를 송수신합니다. 한달에 최대 20,000 메시지를 처리할 수 있습니다.
SMS 메시지 송수신후 커스트마이즈된 프로그램 또는 스크립트를 호출할 수 있는 이벤트 처리 옵션을 지원합니다.
SMS Server Tools는 하나 이상 (최대 32)의 GSM 모뎀을 사용하여 SMS 메시지를 송수신합니다. 몇몇 모뎀에는 Vodafone 또는 Telmi 같은 SIM 카드가 장착되어 있을 수 있습니다. 모든 메시지는 공급자에 의해 큐에 정렬됩니다. 하나의 모뎀이 실패를 하면 소프트웨어가 재시도하기 전 한 시간동안 비활성화되며, 다른 모뎀은 아무런 제한없이 실행됩니다. 상태 정보 및 알람은 syslog에 기록됩니다.
