KBDD는 키보드 데몬을 의미합니다. 간단한 키보드 레이아웃 스위칭 프로그램으로 X11 세션에서 실행되고 키보드 레이아웃을 윈도우 단위로 기억하도록 설계되었습 니다. 이는 터미널 (대부분 latin)과 채팅 (모국어로)에서 타이핑하는 동안 레이 아웃을 이리저리 바꾸고 싶지 않은 비 영어권 키보드 사용자에게 매우 편리할 것 입니다. KBDD에 대한 다른 유용한 기능은 D-Bus 알림 지원입니다 -- 레이아웃 변 경시 신호를 내보낼 수 있으므로, 예를 들면 awesome 같은 윈도우 매니져에서 훌 륭한 레이아웃 인디게이터 위젯을 만들 수도 있습니다.
