이것은 또 다른 텍스트 포매팅 시스템으로 주로 소프트웨어 문서를 작성용하는 데 쓰려고 만들었습니다. halibut은 단일 소스 형식을 받아들여 텍스트, HTML, 윈도우 도움말, 맨 페이지, GNU info, PostScript 또는 PDF로 출력합니다. halibut에는 종합적인 색인과 상호 참조 지원 기능이 있고 가능한 경우 출력 문서 안에서 하이퍼링크를 만들어냅니다. 유니코드를 지원하며 유니코드로 출력할 수 없을 때는 대안이 되는 표현 방식을 찾는 기능도 있습니다.
