visualizzazione di molti file di log con finestre in console
multitail permette di vedere uno o più file come il programma originale tail.
La differenza consiste nel fatto che il programma crea finestre multiple sulla console (con ncurses). Può anche usare colori nella visualizzazione dei file di log per un riconoscimento più veloce di quali linee sono importanti e quali no.
È ottimizzato per sessioni di terminale con connessione lenta.
