monitor del cambiamento di file che si basa su inotify

fswatch è un monitor dei cambiamenti dei file che riceve notifiche quando il contenuto dei file o delle directory specificati viene modificato. fswatch implementa i seguenti tipi di monitor:

 * un monitor basato sull'API File System Events di Apple OS X;
 * un monitor basato su kqueue, un'interfaccia per notifiche di eventi
   introdotta in FreeBSD 4.1 e supportata sulla maggior parte dei sistemi
   *BSD (incluso OS X);
 * un monitor basato su inotify, un sottosistema del kernel Linux che
   riferisce alle applicazioni i cambiamenti del file system;
 * un monitor basato su File Events Notification, un'API del kernel
   Solaris/Illumos che riferisce eventi dei file;
 * un monitor che periodicamente esegue stat sul file system, salva in
   memoria gli orari di modifica dei file e calcola manualmente i
   cambiamenti del file system, che può funzionare su qualunque sistema
   operativo dove stat(2) può essere usato.

fswatch dovrebbe compilare e funzionare correttamente su qualunque sistema che fornisce una delle API menzionate precedentemente.
