filtro che inserisce comandi specifici di una stampante nei compiti di stampa

ppdfilt è un programma filtro pensato per essere usato all'interno di uno script filtro o dalla riga di comando per inserire comandi specifici per una stampante in un compito di stampa PostScript. Può essere usato per dire alla stampante di stampare in doppia faccia o in quinterni o per dirle da quale vassoio prendere la carta. Nell'ambiente di stampa GNULpr, gli utenti non invocano ppdfilt direttamente, ma si accede alle sue funzioni tramite "lpr" o "gpr" (vedi).
