server di rete per il protocollo di tunnelling layer 2 (LNS)
l2tpns è un demone progettato per portare a termine grandi volumi di sessioni del protocollo di tunnelling layer 2 (RFC 2661: L2TP).
Il demone gestisce fino a 65535 sessioni e in più ha funzionalità quali limite di banda, walled garden, contabilità dell'uso e clustering (sia per la condivisione del carico sia per la ridondanza).
Notare che è implementato solamente il lato LNS del protocollo L2TP; per una implementazione di L2TP più completa vedere il pacchetto l2tpd.
