Goby è un pacchetto Emacs Lisp per visualizzare immagini e tipi di carattere grandi, che può essere usato in GNU Emacs come strumento per presentazioni WYSIWYG.
Ci sono due modalità per Goby: Edit e View. La modalità Edit (Modifica) è implementata come modalità secondaria, mentre la modalità View (Visualizza) è una modalità principale. Il file creato (*.gby) è semplicemente testo, perciò è facilmente maneggiabile.
Per visualizzare tipi di carattere grandi, installare i pacchetti dei tipi di carattere TrueType. Per utilizzare immagini, installare il pacchetto netpbm. Per fare dump dello schermo, installare il pacchetto imagemagick.
