Test af haplotypeeffekter i associationsstudier

Formålet med THESIAS-programmet er at udføre haplotype-baseret associationsanalyse i individer uden relation. Dette program er baseret på maximum likelihood-modellen beskrevet i Tregout et al. 2002 (Hum Mol Genet 2002,11: 2015-2023) og er forbundet til SEM-algoritmen (Tregouet et al. Ann Hum Genet 2004,68: 165-177). THESIAS gør det muligt simultant at estimere haplotypefrekvenser og deres associerede effekter på fænotypen. I denne nye THESIAS-udgivelse, kvantitativ, kvalitativ, logistisk og matched-pair analyse), kategorisk og overlevelsesresultater kan studeres. X-lænket haplotypeanalyse er også muligt. Kovariant-justeret haplotypeeffekter samt haplotype x kovariant-interaktioner kan også undersøges.
