SMTP-proxy med flere formål
ProxSMTP er et fleksibelt værktøj, som gør at du kan afvise, ændre eller logge e-post baseret på arbitrære kriterier. Programmet accepterer SMTP- forbindelser og videresender SMTP-kommandoerne og svar til en anden SMTP- server. E-postens tekst »DATA« indfanges for filtreres før den videresendes.
Du skal kunne skrive filtreringsskripterne, som integrerer den med dine specifikke behov. Hvis du kigger efter noget som udfører virusfiltrering, så kig på ClamSMTP, som opfører sig på samme måde og bruger en lignende kodebase.
Du skal ikke bruge en lokalt installeret posttransportagent, da denne server kan videresende til en ekstern.
