Gør power-profilhåndtering tilgængelig over D-Bus
Power-profiles-daemon tilbyder at ændre systemopførelsen baseret på strømprofiler valgt af brugeren. Der er tre forskellige strømprofiler, en »balanceret« standardtilstand, en »strømbesparende« tilstand som en »ydelsestilstand«. De første 2 er tilgængelige på ethvert system. »Ydelsestilstanden« er kun tilgængelig på udvalgte systemer og er implementeret af forskellige »drivere« baseret på systemet eller systemer.
Udover disse 2 eller 3 tilstande (afhængig af systemet), kan »handlinger« tilsluttes for at ændre opførelsen for en bestemt enhed. For eksempel, kan dette bruges til at deaktivere den hurtige ladning for nogle USB-enheder i strømbesparende tilstand.
