Håndteringsbibliotek til X-markør
Xcursor er et simpelt bibliotek designet til at hjælpe med at finde og indlæse markører for X-vinduessystemet. Markører kan indlæses fra filer eller hukommelse og kan findes i flere størrelser; biblioteket vælger automatisk den bedste størrelse. Når der bruges billeder indlæst fra filer, foretrækker Xcursor at bruge optegnerens udvidelse CreateCursor-forespørgsel til at optegne markører med. Når optegnerens udvidelse ikke er understøttet, kortlægger Xcursor markørbilledet til en standard X-markør og bruger CreateCursor-forespørgsel for kernens X-protokol.
Foretrukne temaer for markører kan installeres hvis ønsket, via xcursor-themes eller andre cursor-theme- eller icon-theme-pakker, konfigureret med update-alternatives --config x-cursor-theme.
