HEALPix er et akronym for Hierarchical Equal Area isoLatitude Pixelization af en sfære. Som antydet i navnet laver denne pixelization en underopdeling af en sfærisk overflade hvori hvert billedpunkt dækker det samme overfladerum som andre billedpunkter. Det bruges normalt til at lagre »all-sky« astronomiske billeder, mest kendt kort over den kosmiske mikrobølgebaggrund.
