Denne pakke indeholder en lille konfigrationskodestump til at instruere APT til at afvikle via eatmydata for at deaktivere fsync og lignende kald for dpkg og programmer afviklet af dpkg. Som bemærket i eatmydatas beskrivelse gør dette installationen meget hurtigere, men mindre nedbrudssikker.

Denne pakke er mest nyttig i midlertidige containere, chroot'er eller hvor et system bryder ned under pakkeinstallation og efterlader systemet i en inkonsistent tilstand.
