Postnews è una piccola utilità a riga di comando scritta in Python che può essere utilizzata per inviare articoli Usenet (incluse le intestazioni) dallo stdin o da un file ad un server NNTP. Il messaggio deve contenere come minimo le intestazioni "From:", "Newsgroups:", "Subject:", una riga vuota e il corpo.
