Mmark è un potente processore di Markdown scritto in Go, pensato per scrivere documenti IETF. È comunque *anche* adatto per scrivere libri completi e altra documentazione tecnica, come il libro Learning Go (https://miek.nl/go), l'output di testo per Internet-Draft (https://miek.nl/go/learninggo-2.txt)) e le RFC.
Fornisce un dialetto Markdown avanzato che elabora file per produrre Internet-Draft in formato XML della RFC 7991. Mmark può produrre xml2rfc (la suddetta RFC 7991), output HTML5 e pagine di manuale.
Mmark usa gomarkdown (https://github.com/gomarkdown/markdown) che è un fork di blackfriday (https://github.com/russross/blackfriday/).
